Gage County 4-H "Log Cabin Boxes" Pillow Quilting Class

Fee: $10 (includes pattern, batting, muslin, instruction and snack)
Maximum 10 participants; register by March 15

This easy to sew project uses a modified log cabin quilt block pattern to make a 14" pieced and tied pillow top. The class is designed for beginning level participants, age 10 or older, with some sewing experience. We will introduce you to Quilt Quest resources and help with your quilting questions.

Participants need to bring:

• 3/4 yard of colorful fabric for pillow top blocks and pillow back
• 1 fat quarter coordinating colorful facbric for pillow top blocks
• 1 fat quarter of contrasting lighter fabric for pillow top blocks
• 14" square pillow form (not needed for class)
• thread to blend with fabrics
• embroidery floss or yarn to tie pillow top
• adult helper (recommended)

Sewing machines & tools provided by Extension Office.
